Ingredients

GORDITAS

  • 2 Cups MASECA® Corn flour
  • ½ Tsp Salt
  • 2 Cups Water
  • 10.50 oz. Ground pork rinds

PUPUSAS

  • 2 Cups MASECA® Corn flour
  • 1 Cup Mozzarella cheese grated
  • 1 ½ Cup Water
  • 10.50 oz Ground pork rinds

Instructions

Gorditas Instructions

  • Mix the MASECA® with the salt and water until you have a soft and uniform dough. Make small balls with your hand and flatten them a little. Put the pork rinds in the middle and form the gordita.
  • Heat some oil in a pan and fry the gorditas until they are golden brown. Put them on a paper towel so that it absorbs the excess oil.
  • To serve them, open the gorditas in the middle and accompany them with onion, cilantro, and the sauce of your preference.

Pupusas Instructions

  • Mix the MASECA® with the grated cheese and add water until you have a soft and uniform dough. Make small balls with the dough. Put some grease on your hands, take each ball of dough and flatten them a little until it looks like a thick tortilla. Put some of the pork rinds in the middle and cover them with more dough making a ball again. Flatten the ball with your hands to form the pupusa.
  • Cook them on a skillet on both sides for 3 minutes.
  • To serve them, make a topping with cabbage and carrots and season them to your liking.
